Tightness testing is  to be carried out when instructed to ensure that the commercial gas pipework is safe for use. When compass Engineering carry out any Tightness testing for gas pipework installations the pipework is pressure tested to a set pressure and is made to hold the pressure for a calculated time. When the commercial gas pipework passes the tightness test a commercial gas safety certificate will be issued by Compass Engineering on completion of every commercial gas pipework test and / or purge works to state that it is safe.

Compass Engineering advise annual preventative maintenance checks on all installation pipework and should be tested and inspected. compass Engineering would carry out the preventative maintenance out at the same time as the annual gas appliance service works are carried out.

Again, as standard, Compass engineering will issue a commercial gas safety certificate to state that the commercial gas pipework that has been tested or purged is safe.

When any gas pipework de-commissioning  works are carried out by Compass Engineering, rest assured that the very same level of expertise and workmanship are implemented especially with regards to Safety, with all de-commissioned pipework left purged to air.
